Where its knowledge comes from

Existing backlog tickets

Searches the backlog first: no duplicates, your labels and conventions reused.

The actual codebase

Reads the product repositories, so subtasks reference real modules and patterns.

Business rules

Underwriting and eligibility tables: acceptance criteria cite real thresholds.

How a session goes

Set the direction. Business requirement (lower cost, recommended) or technical implementation (codebase scan, higher cost; confirmation required).
Describe the requirement. One sentence is enough, or paste an existing ticket link to improve it.
Answer the questions. A few at a time. "I don't know" is a valid answer: it is recorded, not guessed.
Review the preview. The ticket exactly as it will look in your project tool, with Gherkin acceptance criteria.
Approve it. Only then are the ticket and subtasks created, and you get the links back here.
Optional: tech breakdown. After a business requirement, Elixcit asks if you want the team subtasks ([Solution Design], BE, FE, Infra, Testing) filled in from the codebase. Starting technical? It checks for an existing business ticket to update first.

Works best when business people capture the requirement first and tech leads refine the drafted ticket with their team.
